Black Forest Cupcakes

Here is another one of those really hard recipes I am known for. Black Forest Cupcakes!
1 Devil's Food Cake Mix
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 8oz Cool-Whip
2 tsp almond extract
1 chocolate bar
Make the cake mix according to the package directions. Fill each cup a third of the way. Spoon cherries from the pie filling into the center of the cup, trying to leave the sauce behind in the can. I have a large cup pan, so I put 4 cherries per cup. Finish filling the cup to about 2/3 of the way to the top. Bake according to package directions. Mix the almond extract into the Cool-Whip. I used 2 tsp, because some of the first one spilled out when I started mixing. Frosted the cooled cupcakes with the Cool-Whip and grate some chocolate over the top.
